Dalat : my childhood house

My brothers and me in front of our childhood house where we stayed when in Dalat. My grandfather had it built to house his 7 children plus his 2 brothers and their families. There was quite a crowd when my dad was a little boy. When I was born, there weren't so many people in the house but still, about 10 people or so lived in it. Now, only 2 people still dwell there. The house is full of a nostalgic atmosphere. I had the feeling that the walls echoed with memories, especially when my dad told us some childhood stories. It's different when he tells them here in Belgium. In that house, those stories seemed to come to life and were more vivid to me. A few things were familiar to me : our old bedroom, the front courtyard, the altar dedicated to our ancestors, my dad's orchid garden. It was good lying on my bed and listening to the rain, I felt like memories were coming back through my senses.
